Making Your Custom-Domain Tumblr a Little More Robust
So the problem with IHC today is that their DNS redirect server went down, affecting all sites that use custom domain names. But this guy sent me a tweet on not one but five different IP addresses to use to prevent this. You sir are a god. That being said, IHC might be wonky for a bit while I set this up. Gird your loins.
Good to know. I’ve been quiet on the internets lately, so I didn’t even notice that/if my Tumblrs were down, but… in case I ever get around to giving a shit, I shall now add these IPs to my DNS settings.

I wouldn’t know how to “Stalk”, I’m not even on the same continent. Do you know someone who could give correspondence lessons in stalking should I decide to take it up as a hobby?
Stalking me takes little to no effort. FFS, anyone with two seconds and an internet connection could be murdering me right fucking now. If you haven’t already axe-murdered me, you’re probably a lost cause when it comes to a future in stalking. I wouldn’t waste your money on those lessons.
Not relevant to the question… but it seems to me that the easier you are to stalk online the less people bother to stalk you.

It is well-documented fact that Tao Lin is an unabashed hype machine, but surely, I am not the only person that thinks Tao Lin is also his own fanbase / hate machine too.
Of the many* Twitter accounts baring his name or likeness, the most bizarre account has to be @taolin4chan and the accompanying taolin4chan.tumblr.com documenting Tao Lin’s 4Chan ‘presence’ although it only documents two such times. Repeatedly, @taolin4chan at-mentions itself and makes mention of calling out ‘other’ currently logged in fans.
But a couple things do not add up. The screenshots of Tao Lin’s 4chan ‘presence’ speak as loosely of him as if it were a Muumuu House Gchat log, which is not how 4chan operates at all. Threads with non-nudity/non-gore do not garner comments, let alone commenters familiar with books—mainstream or not.
Secondly, the ‘fans’ running @taolin4chan would presumably be immersed in 4chan-speak, no? Yet one tweet reads: “what does ‘OP’ mean?” written in immaculate Tao Lin-style, and OP means Original Poster, as in the thread creator.
No wonder Tao has an ‘obsession’ re: adderall, he is a perpetual motion machine.
